Olympic Journey: how Hermit brings BOC closer to the gaming audience across various platforms.
There is a strong bond shared by both sports fans and gamers: passion. Two loyal audiences who devote themselves to their idols and are passionate about competition and adrenaline, cheering and celebrating. Profiles of all ages and behaviors have something compelling in common that can be leveraged in a gaming presence project. And that is exactly what Hermit Crab implemented with the brand of the Brazilian Olympic Committee.
A partnership between Hermit Crab and the Brazilian Olympic Committee (BOC) brings Olympic sports to various platforms within the gaming universe, creating fan communities and reaching new audiences that never interacted with the brand in this way. This project will create unique, relevant connections with various gamer profiles, generating greater reach, and improving engagement, and retention. And of course, some brands will be part of this journey, until now Panini, Nutry, Docile and Allos are confirmed.
The first developed experience, Parque do Ginga, is already available on Roblox, one of the most influential platforms in the gaming space that reached 77.7 million daily active users (DAUs) in Q1 2024. It is an amusement park featuring Ginga, the mascot of Team Brazil, offering various playful minigames, sports challenges, social interactions, and even a fun celebration party.

In addition to Roblox, BOC will be present on The Sandbox platform, a leading metaverse in the gaming universe. In the coming months, taking advantage of the lead-up to the Paris Olympic Games, two mobile projects will be launched: a customized casual game where players unlock stickers and complete the albums and an exclusive app featuring competitive sports minigames.

Parque do Ginga
An amusement park on Roblox. Ginga, the mascot of Team Brazil, invites players to compete in sports like soccer, basketball, and athletics. Visitors can also enjoy the Obby or many events and activities.

An Olympic village featuring over 15 challenges with a Brazilian touch, combining sports and lots of fun in the multiverse of The Sandbox.

A mobile merge game where players combine items to collect stickers and complete the season album.
